We're still trying to figure out what there is to do here in the Phoenix area..... We made it to the Mesa Temple. It is one of the older Temples... but it is really beautiful from the outside. Gorgeous landscaping ( like always). The girls mentioned while they were there, that they miss the San Antonio Temple. The San Antonio Temple will always have a special place in my heart.
I miss it too!

My cute Dad with Maddy. We went to this fun restaurant called San Tan Flats (some of you may have been there) You order your food and then can go outside and sit around your own fire pit and wait for your food and then eat out by the fire. We've brought smores before too and cooked those after dinner. Lots of fun. Although the beginning of September was still TOO hot to sit by a fire for us. We tried to find a table away from the heat. We were surprised at how many people were cozied up right be the fire. I just can't sit next to a fire when it's over 90 degrees IN THE EVENING.

My cute mama and Hallie

I persuaded my dad to swim with the girls while he was here. They had a blast with grandpa. It was so fun to watch them because some of my funnest childhood memories are of me swimming with my Dad.

One morning while they were here, I came down stairs and all the windows and doors were wide open and it was actually COOL (a new concept for me) There was a huge rain storm that morning and my Dad and Mom were up early with the older girls and had them out in the rain playing and splashing around. It was SO cute. The green belt of grass across the street looked like a little pond and they were all having a blast playing in the rain. My girls hair actually went curly again.... something that has been absent since being in this dry weather. Anyway, the girls had a blast. I am so glad my parents could come down to visit. They were a huge help and I just love them to pieces. Thanks for everything Mom and Dad
