Christmas Eve

Everyone came over to our house for Christmas Eve. We had yummy Mexican food and then dove right into the Christmas Eve Traditions. Even after all the complaining.... I think everyone had a great time!




First, We read the Nativity Story. We did not act it out this year... maybe next year. Then, Cheryl read a new Christmas story to everyone. She has given us some really great Christmas books. We look forward to it every year. Then we got out the chimes and everyone participated in playing a Christmas song. I have to say this went much more smoothly this year than last!!! Then We end the night by doing a candle lighting exchange, where we light the person's candle sitting next to us and tell why we love that person. There are always some very sweet words exchanged. Fun, fun night!
