Maddy turned 8 years old this year and chose to be baptised. We had lots of family travel down to AZ to share her special day with us. It was a beautiful day. Maddy's Baptism program consisted of her dad giving a talk on baptism, her Grandpa Miller giving a talk on the Holy ghost and a musical number sung by Maddy, Hallie, and their cousin Ellie. They sang If the Savior stood beside me accompanied by Me on the Piano and my Mom on the flute. After the ceremony we came back to our house for a very wet BBQ pool party. We had the strangest biggest storm roll in. The darkest clouds I've ever seen here. Oh well... it cooled things off which is rare in the middle of July! Maddy's wish for a pool party will have to wait for another time. We love you Maddy and are so proud of you and the choices you are making in your life!
Oh- and we also blessed our little Kennedy the same day. With so much family coming down we thought we would save all of these special things for one day. Kenna was a little big for her dress.... but we squeezed her into it.
