Carving 4 pumpkins is not an easy task. Especially considering I used to let the girls pick out which intricate pattern they wanted and then we marked it and cut it. And by we I mean me. It took hours! So this year I used some of these great little... for lack of a better word.... attachments? It saved at least an hour!!
Digging out the guts!
I don't know what is all over Livi's Mouth.... I never do....
Nice and slimy!
Daddy helped carve the faces that the girls drew on. Another time saver. Now I know why we only did faces growing up. I know I sound like a Scrooge for Halloween... but Pumpkin Carving night always ends in such a mess and with such a headache. And.. I get to spend the night finishing the pumpkins. But, we did it more simply this year and had a great time!!!
This is what Kenna was doing while we were busy. Look at the trail of mess behind her. She found the perfect seat for herself. No, it was not on thank goodness and Yes, we have safety measures set in place now so she can't do that anymore.
Trick or treating night. Maddy was dressed as Hermoine, Hallie-Princess Tiana, Livi-Minnie Mouse
