And.... last day of soccer

Yes, as I've told several of you... we are pulling Maddy out of soccer. Quitters you may call us, but in the life of a 4 1/2 year old I think it deserves another name. Happiness for Maddy and maybe just sanity for me. Seriously, from the time we left home for practices or games it was melt down city and then as soon as we got home.... I had my sweet Maddy back. So in-spite of Travis' dreams of Maddy being his little soccer player, (because that can't happen now? I assured him she's fine even if she starts at the elderly age of 5 or 6) , we decided that with her lack of interest we could put our time to better use. So, here's to our Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings that are now wide open!!

p.s. I have to share this story. At the end of her first and only game Maddy finally agreed to go in again. So, as I held my breath hoping this would last longer than 20 seconds I heard someone cheering for her. I look over and cute little Brian Wheelus was on the sidelines cheering for her. He was there waiting for his game to start, and started cheering all on his own. I thought it was the sweetest thing in the world. Thanks Brian for being the only one there who still had faith in Maddy!!
