Mom those are not going to fit

So, the other day I was going swimming with the girls. As I was pulling in the parking lot a thought came into my head..... that would suck if I forgot my swim bottoms. I brushed it off because I was pretty certain I grabbed my whole suit. So, we get to the dressing room and I get the girls all dressed in their floaty swim suits and then I go to get dressed. I start pulling out my stuff and I have my swim top, and a skirt cover up.... and that's all. My first thought.... ok... what am I going to do. I could go commando.... but my cover up is not going to let me pull that off. All anyone would need to do would be to look down in the water.... or if they had goggles... you get the idea. My second thought... I look in the bag to see if there's anything else I can use. Luckily before I left I grabbed the girls normal swim suits. Maddy has a T shirt swim suit with seperate bottoms. I pull out those bottoms and look at them and think...... if I want to swim with the girls this is my best bet. My skirt will cover them up anyway. So, I start to put them on and Maddy's like ..... Mom those are mine. They don't fit you. I said.... yah maddy I know.
So, what happens next. I got her 5 T swim suit bottoms on. Hot pink with colored polka dots. I put my skirt cover up on over them and looked in a mirror to see how bad it looked...... and luckily unless you were under the water looking... I don't think anyone noticed. I say this not to brag about fitting into a 5 T swim suit bottom..... because it was not pretty and all I can say is that they were REALLY stretchy. It really shouldn't have been possible and is not something I'm proud of. Just that hopefully if any of you are in this situation.... not all hope is lost..... you'll never know unless you try! :)
