So, here is the first attempt at a family picture this year. We went to Portrait Innovations which we have used the past few years and have always been happy with..... and this year somehow ended up choosing between bad family picture or worse family picture. This was the best out of the few that were close to being ok. 2 things: 1rst don't you love the 80's backdrop that was chosen specifically for us? The photographer said it would go perfect with our outfits..... and I was thinking Um..... really? Maybe he knows something I don't know. 2nd Travis is dwarfing us by like 2 feet. I scanned the picture and tried to do a few things with it and his head kept getting chopped off. So, after a night of thinking I cannot send this picture to our family and Travis' clients...... I called them and they happily let us come retake our family picture. So, we have one now that I am perfectly happy with. You'll all see that one soon. p.s. we would still go to Portrait Innovations. They were great about letting us re due the shoot.

Too funny, you all look nice though. Maybe they just wanted Travis to look really manly for the picture.
I do adore watercolor backdrops- they remind me of school pictures.
Ok, first, your girls are starting to look more like you! Second, yeah, Travis looks 8 feet tall. Third, it's a good picture, but HOORAY for getting new ones!
Hahahaha... I love how the red in the back drop brings out the brown in the dresses to bring out your eyes... what? HAHA I love it, and miss you so much you have NO stinking idea!
although you don't like your family picture you guys all look great, I can't wait to see your new one. Tell Travis hi for us.
You are too funny! That was a great post, it made my day! The problem was definitely with the photographer because your family looked great.
