Maddy's Birthday Part 2

I turned our Dining room, that we hardly ever use, into the birthday room. These pictures make it look so plain... but after we filled it w/ everything it really looked very girlie and fun. So, we had about 15-16 girls who came and we started out the party by making a craft. We made these cute felt flower bows and attached them to headbands. The girls seemed to really have fun doing it and I think it was a success. I saw several girls wearing them at church the next day. That's a good sign :). Anyway. Then Travis took them across the street to the greenbelt and played a few games w/ them while I hid the clues for the Treasure hunt. Then, the rest was history.... cake, icecream, presents. Everything went really well. It was a pretty mello party considering how many girls came.

There are some girls in the area that make signs like these and sell them around the Holidays. They make them SO cute... and I thought, Why not make a Birthday one and then have it for many birthdays to come. It took a few hours, but I think it turned out pretty cute. I just printed the Letters out on white card stock and then just scrapbooked/ribboned/and decorated them all a little different.
Phrase of the week: Hallie- Mom Can I have that for My birthday too?
